Where are all the good songs?
03 November 2009
It's amazing how few great songwriters there are in the church today. Outside of the Hillsong crew, not many people are writing usable congregational songs, year in, year out, that hit the spot in the global church.
Sure, there are lots of churches writing and using their own stuff these days, which is great, and [http://xcelchurch.com](we're one of them), but it's incredible that with so many churches across the world, still only one is able to churn out great songs time after time.
I think it's time all the rest of us raised our game.
